Brand

For over a decade, the Brandspace team has proudly supported the Port of Dover in the creation of their branded communications and marketing.

A recent rebrand was undertaken by Saboteur Studio London, resulting in a progressive, exciting and bold brand for the Port. Whilst Brandspace didn’t conceive the new identity, it was handed to us to foster and oversee its very first steps into the world and support its subsequent flourishing.

A hard working brand

The Port of Dover is a multidivisional organisation with a brand that needs to be expressed across the following:

  • Cross-channel ferries make Dover one of the world’s busiest maritime passenger ports;
  • £144bn worth of UK trade comes through Dover (1/3 of all UK/EU trade in goods).
  • The Port offers a new marina for long term or visiting berthing; state-of-the-art cargo and logistics hub; a premier port for international cruise lines in the South East.
  • The Port has important commercial, community and political relationships.
  • Notably, the Port of Dover places utmost commitment on corporate social responsibility.

So you see it’s a brand with great responsibility.

Annual Report Design

We’ve been proudly creating the Port of Dover Annual Reports for many years.

The Port of Dover is a vast, impressive and multi-faceted organisation and every year brings great achievements and challenges. The years are summed up in two of the most important and prestigious documents any company will ever produce – the Annual Report and Accounts and the Corporate Social Responsibility Report.

The Port trusts Brandspace to design reports that cleverly reflect the content, are concise and impactful – reports that showcase the accomplishments and bolster the brand year-on-year.

Presentation Design

An important commercial organisation like the Port of Dover requires the power of good presentation. Brandspace has helped by expertly designing comprehensive and branded PowerPoint templates to make it easy for staff to create powerful corporate brand presentations. As with all of our clients, if there is any change in direction with the design brief, we can and do, step in and refine it until it is absolutely right.

Magazine Advertising

The Port uses the power of print advertising for commercial and political advantage.

  • Local newspaper adverts have been used to inform and engage the community in events and consultations.
  • We’ve created adverts for political publications that speak to government institutions about the Port’s needs, challenges and vital importance to Britain’s economy.
  • Port of Dover Cruise, Marina and Cargo all benefit from advertising in their most relevant print magazines.
